An Adjective is a word that is used to describe characteristics of an object, such as its color, size, weight and the type of material it is made out of.

ADRIFT has an adjective field on the description page of both characters and objects, into which you can type whatever you want to appear between the article and noun when printing out the name of the object or the short description (descriptor) of a character.

  • The %object%.Name function will print the article, all the words in the adjective field, then the first entry in the list of nouns.
  • ADRIFT does not currently allow direct access to this property for either objects or characters. You will need to create your own adjective property if you need access to it by itself.
